The Grand Mesa Observatory

The Grand Mesa Observatory is located on the side of The Grand Mesa itself, but despite our remote location we are just 30min away from Grand Junction. Here in Western Colorado we are located in high desert country, and at an elevation of 6150 feet we have little to no humidity, an abundance of clear nights, and virtually zero light pollution as can be seen in the map below. All of this combines to create an environment that's next to perfect for serious astronomers and astrophotographers alike!
