PROGRAM: Grand Mesa Observatory online tour followed by guest speaker and deep sky imaging (weather permitting)

GUEST SPEAKER: Heidi Ragsdale Stem Educator and NASA Ambassador Heidi will be doing a talk on the MAVON mission currently sampling Mars’ atmosphere

“In order to continue bringing the night skies of Colorado to the public during the ongoing times of restrictions on public gatherings, the Western Colorado Astronomy Club will be hosting monthly online tours of Grand Mesa Observatory along with virtual tours of the night sky and information on astronomy objects of interest.”

Interested members of the public who wish to participate in this experience will be able to easily log in on their computers from the comfort and safety of their home.

Following the speaker, and provided the sky is clear, the program will end with a live stream of astrophotography in progress at the observatory. Guests can watch the data developing and follow the process if they wish.
